Title: vase bird and flowers

Today I bought this vase . But I don't nobor it is asian at all. The painting looks chinese or japanese. But maybe its from europe and with asian painting?

Who can tell me more about this vase?

To me this might be Japanese but not Chinese or Korean, unless it is modern. Could be a Kanji character on the foot rim, although it is a bit odd. If it is blue and the foot rim unglazed, that would mean it was made with a chemical pigment. Mineral pigments turn black(ish) if not over-glazed.
