One question, is there a horizontal seam inside, and if yes, it is visible on the outside too?

If you haven't bought it already, I would not. If there is no visible seam inside showing that the item was made in two pieces on the wheel an then fused together, it is likely newer.

I also have doubts about the size (width) of the petals. I believe it should depict a peony, but it seems a bit off, and the bottom should be glazed or at least not so rough and dark.
