From the 20th century. The eyes are painted in a way that is typical for that period. Also, there is a spurious Shende-Tang made. That would originally have been made for the Daoguang emperor, but is not official ware.

Not sure whether that is a single or two characters. It probably is either 吉, an auspicious character, or 出口, meaning 'export' (unlikely), in my view.
