Title: Guangxu Hat Stand
Post by: bokaba on Jun 12, 2021, 23:28:21
Is this a Guangxu period hat stand? The foot rim looks somewhat that way, but I am suspicious of the "dirt" applied to the rim, the very round rim on the top, and the flaking of glaze.

People's faces are important. Please provide close-up shots of some...

Thanks for the pics, the faces seem all right for Guangxu. I would not worry about the foot rim dirt. Looks normal for the period, in my view. The 'spider' crack in the bottom is also fairly common for that period.
