Inherited from my fathers collection
Hi,
Nice piece.
Kangxi export plate around 1700.
Kind regards,
JJ
Thanks JJ...Would you have an idea about its average value??
Maybe you could post larger pictures with good resolution showing details of glaze and the foot rim close up? Sometimes small pictures can be misleading and an item might be an imitation, from a different time, or even printed. It is difficult to see that with thumbnail size pictures.
Hi Peterp:
This was in my fathers collection since my childhood i.e. at least for 60 years. Anyways here is a larger image:
Hi again,
Here are a good resolution, showing details of glaze and the foot rim close up...
Thanks, these pictures are good. Looks as if it could be Kangxi export ware.
Thanks Peterp,
Do you have an idea about their average market value?
Sorry, but we do not talk about value here, because that differs greatly depending on location (selling venue) country, etc. You will get a completely different price for the same item, depending on whether it is on Ebay, a local auction house, or other.
Ok I understand...but whats is your opinion about its collectibility?
An authentic Kangxi plate would be nice to any collector.
