Title: Cups Qing? Ming?
Post by: Bok on Mar 16, 2021, 09:48:22
Dear knowledgeable crowd,

Got this set of five cups which I only know to be old, but not how old... Superficially, the shape reminds me of Ming cups I have seen before, but I lack the knowledge to confirm or deny this impression. One of them has a different design and seems to be a tad older in appearance, the one with what looks like a cabbage motif. All do have some Kintsugi repairs.

Any help is most appreciated!

In my view this is more likely early Qing. They are from Dehua kiln not Jingdezhen.

Thanks! That coincides with another friends opinion I just received.
