Title: dark blue vase dragon design

Hello, Is this vase Chinese or imitation. I think it is unusual. How old? I bought this 45 years ago in Europe. It is 32" H

As nobody responds it might mean nobody recognizes this. The shape and dragon motif are Chinese, but the colors and painting style are nothing traditional Chinese. That means it is either not Chinese at all (European or Japanese?) or relatively modern. Unfortunately, the bottom is not showing any specific time or place of origin, in this case.

Their is a lot of lead in the paint, and the foot rim looks strange, it could be japanese but the foot rim is to wide to be Japanese, I think Peter is right European
