Title: Help with Imari(?) jars
Post by: mb1991 on Nov 13, 2020, 23:31:59
Hello all,

Could anybody please help me with the identification of this pair of jars?
Since I'm not an expert in japanese ceramics, I need a second opinion about the age and origin.

Best,

mb

Nice Pair of 20th century Imari vases, I would think by the quality of the lids and the decoration looking prestine that these would date to the 2nd half of the 20 century.
BTW, these could be Modern Chinese Knockoffs, I have seen an abundance of Japanese looking porcelain coming from China.
