Title: Likely modern Chinese vase with mark
Post by: tipton444 on Nov 13, 2020, 14:44:00
Hey guys, so I'm guessing this is a very modern vase... but I just had to ask and make sure it's not something like late republic just in case before I toss it out.  I'm organizing and I've had it on my shelf for a while hoping to see another mark like it has on the bottom but I haven't.  Can anyone tell me what it says?  Thanks

This seems printed. The mark is not readable, written in a fancy character style. But the foot rim is sure 20th century at least.

11th???  Underglaze blue did not even exist then. That would be Song.

Sorry Peter, I was just commenting on your 10th century post, I think you meant 21st century.
