Looks like it has a 20th century foot, the outside foot is straight and not slanted.
Hi Stan, I think you should be aware that straight up plate foot rims are from the 19th century onwards. Slanted foot rims are mainly from the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong reigns; there are some from the Jiaqing reign that are said to be painted on blanks remaining from the Qianlong era.
In my view this could be Daoguang mark and period. The tail tip shows it is at least 19th century. The mark characters and underside decoration seem to confirm that dating. Made by a private kiln.
Thank you Peter, some times I confuse Chinese with Japanese and visa versa, If this was a Japanese foot it would have been 20th century, thanks for the correction.
