Title: Vase Identification Help
Post by: Jim on Jul 16, 2020, 21:37:56
Was wondering if someone might be able to help me identify these vases.  My parents picked them up in the early 50's in Hong Kong.  They appear to have "Roosters" and "Flowers" on them.  They are not identical, e.g., exact replicas.  Also, there are no markings on them anywhere.  Any help  would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

A pair of cylindrical vases with phonix and floral decorations. The shape is not a traditional one, meaning it is not a shape from imperial times (1911 or earlier). The neck has also a shape that is unusual.
The pictures are too small to show if the bottom is unglazed or not, and the neck decoration is not clearly visible either.
