Title: Help needed to identify items of porcelain from my mothers house - Teaset 1.
Post by: Mr.Spigot on Jul 05, 2020, 00:23:25
In the process of clearing my mother's house I have come across several items of porcelain which look to be quite old and may have some value, but I have no idea about them. I thought I would attach some photos and hope someone can help point me in the right direction. They may be of little value but hopefully someone here may know.
The first is a tea set comprising a teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug along with 4 cups and saucers and two extra saucers. The porcelain is very light and translucent and generally in good condition. One of the lids has chips inside and one of the saucers has part of the handle broken off, but otherwise they all look to be in good condition.

The mark says 'Made by Kano', probably the artisan's family name.
