Title: Identify (Sancai?) ornate pot with feet and handles.
Post by: boblet on Jul 14, 2014, 03:06:48
Good people -
I would be much obliged if you can help working out what this is? There is a makers mark, but it is hardly distinguishable, and clearly brushwork, not stamps.

Any hints, educated guesses much appreciated.

Hi there petep - thank you for your time. I probably should have included this image of the base. I suppose it could be a mish-mash. What do you think?

Yes, it is. Could be a try at faking Far Eastern characters, but it is unreadable.
