Post by: samborsu on Apr 03, 2020, 02:08:35
Could anyone tell me the period this piece was done?
It represent a Duck with her young by her side. Nicely glazed in very good shape. The topper is brown. It is mostly green with some yellow and brown. It is  4"1/2 H x 7"1/2 L.
Is Is a wine pourer or waht is made for something else.
Thank you

Hi Samborsu, with the seam on the bottom makes me think this was made in a two piece mould, not hand moulded, so 20th century, in the inside how many holes where the Tea, Wine, or water flows through the spout.

Thanks, the older ones have more that one hole, which varies, I think 3 is about right on the older ones.
