Title: 2 Fencai plates - Yongzheng?
Post by: JjGhandi on Mar 16, 2020, 18:06:06
Hello everyone,

I came across these two Fencai plates.
The seller is selling her mother's house and it needs to be cleared out.
She does not have more pictures at the moment.

What are your thoughts on these plates?
They seem Yongzheng to me and genuine.

Can anyone identify the marks?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

JJ

Both are Daoguang, mark and period.

They are difficult to read, like those of the Jiaqing reign. One more thing I forgot to mention. These are considered Canton enamels, not fencai.
