Title: Hat stand vase
Post by: Adriano on Feb 03, 2020, 18:22:01
My impression is a late Qianjiang style, early republic period.
What is not convincing me is that the porcelain is without defects, stains of rust…
The gilded decoration is rubbed, ok.
Thank you for any comments.

I cannot help much with this, Adriano. The painting style looks a bit odd (bird and flowers), more like an oil painting. It gives the impression of something painted later, in the 50s or so. Be careful that this is not an over-painted or repainted item.

Thank you Peter.
You confirm my doubts: It is better I leave it.
