Post by: calder on Nov 07, 2019, 03:58:07
I know its difficult to date.
What are peoples opinions on this pot?
It is 4 1/2" long from tip of spout to handle.
2 1/4" tall.

Dehua kiln ware. Does it show a line along the handle or spout? If yes it is likely 1930s or later. Otherwise it is more difficult to tell, but even without it is likely early republic or later. The holes visible inside, where the spout is attached, and the base, show that it probably cannot be Qing dynasty.

Hello Peter,
I think there is a fait line between the top rim to spout.
But none to handle to rim.
Thank you again Peter for your time.
