Title: ID celadon-grounded famille rose
Post by: kdr on Sep 01, 2019, 02:42:28
Hi,
there are a lot of these on the market. I just wondered whether this one is of the 19th century? the bottom looks ok for that, and I liked the subtle painting of the bird and the butterfly. If 19th C, can it be date to first or second half of the century?
does the mark mean something?

Looks like Jiaqing mark and period.

Dated as Stan said.
This is export porcelain for Europe, apparently, as this is almost unknown in the Far East.
