Looks Japanese, but images are much too small to see anything clearly.

Sorry about that. Hopefully these images are better. I inherited this vase from my mother in law - it belonged to her second husband who said he bought it overseas during WW2 while he was stationed there.

This is indeed Japanese Satsuma type 1920s - 30s
