Title: Saucer - Kangxi with gold paint added later?
Post by: haukech on Aug 26, 2019, 04:50:38
Dear All,
This bigger saucer approx 13cm x 2,5cm bears a mark which i had not seen before and based on the rim i would say Kangxi 18c.
Still not all sure so any comments/help appreciated.
I have also the doubt in regards to the enamels as it seems a bit overcharged mixing.
Thanks in advance.

The main problem I have is with the double rim of the mark. Those intermittent spaces in the lines are usually a sign of transfers rather than  hand-painting. Otherwise age signs are normal. Looks like Kangxi Imari.
