Title: Qianlong/Yongzheng
Post by: konniela on Jun 30, 2019, 20:33:59
Hello everybody,

this bowl/dish (14 cm x 3,5 cm) say (not realy, but his owner) that it comes from Qianlong ore Yongzheng. It looks a little bit like pseudo tobacco leaf but not really. It seems to have some age, but to me it looks unusual. I am not sure, if it is so old.

Thanks

You are right, resembles the painting style of tobacco leaf wares. But I have never seen this and also have doubts. Did you notice that the flowers are painted in a different than the usual Chinese styles?

Is it possibly a Newhall tobacco plant pattern bowl?
