Title: Small dish, coated brown glaze exterior
Post by: haukech on Jun 09, 2019, 22:54:09
Dear All,
A small dish with blue painting interior, and brownish outside.
No mark, I have never bought this type before so I am a bit lost. What could be dating, type?
Dimensions 12cmx2cm
Thanks in advance.
Chris

In the meantime I found out that it is probably a 18th Chinese Batavian Porcelain Saucer, pitty only I missed the Tea Bowl Cup which might have been together.

Looks like Batavia porcelain, export for the dutch market. A I know pieces like this were made in 19.century too. I can not help with age.

If you could upload a picture showing the base/foot rim (partially is fine) in detail, and a larger view of the decoration it might help.

Probably Qianlong or Jiaqing reign export.
