Title: Famille rose vase
Post by: Adriano on May 18, 2019, 19:08:55
My first impression is Republic period, but the inside of the mouth has many rust spots and the bottom has many burst bubbles.
Could these lead to an earlier period, Late Qing Guangxu?
The pictures are in natural light and are a bit dark because we are having hard rainy days.
Thank you for any comments.

Best Regards,
Adriano

Late Qing or early republic, the bubble bursts are called pitting.

As Stan said, late Qing or early republic. There is no cyclical date. The painter seems to be Liu Ji ?? (perhaps Liu Ji-yong). This appears to be Qianjiang porcelain.

Thank you Peter, very helpful information.
I will try to find references on this painter.
