Post by: konniela on May 03, 2019, 19:05:30
Hello,

I am looking for a longer time, to find an old rice grain piece, with this one here, I hope, now search is successfully over.
With the Kangxi mark I think it can be from around guangxu.

Thanks for help

From just looking at the mark, you have a Qing Dynasty Kangxi (?????mark. which is from 1662-1722, He was the second emperor of the Qing Dynasty. The characters are painted rather loosely which was a characteristic of middle Kangxi reign.

If you read a bit more on "Marks" on the main site here you may understand why Chinese marks almost never can be used for dating. In this case the decoration pattern (aka rice grain pattern) did not even exist yet in the Kangxi reign.
