Title: Chinese bowl with red mark
Post by: Ronny on Jan 20, 2019, 19:09:16
I have a verry nice old Chinese bowl.
A verry long time ago someone give me information about the mark but I lost it.
Maybe someone here can help me with this.
What means the mark, when was it used.

The mark says "Made by Chen shen-chang". The item looks as if it was about late Qing dynasty, Guangxu reign.

The info I had was also Qing, that was the only thing I was remembering, the rest of the info was lost.
So Qing dynasty is good, and now with the rest of the info I am happy.
This time I keep the info save, thanks for your answer.
Its a nice bowl, even it has many baking cracks and simple pictures.

I was thinking, is this bowl worth something?
I think myself not much but I do not know.
