Title: 18th century Chinese Imari?
Post by: kdr on Jan 05, 2019, 02:22:54
I bought it as an 18th century Chinese Imari plate, Qianlong  or about 1760. diameter: 23 cm. If correct, how can I see the difference between Kangxi and Qianlong Chinese Imari?

Usually we attribute this to Kangxi because the bulk of Imari was made in that reign. Not sure if there are any from the Qianlong reign.
