Title: Porcelain Bowl w/ Character Marks
Post by: tipton444 on Dec 18, 2018, 01:51:00
Hey all, I recently bought quite a few Chinese porcelain pieces from an estate collection and could use some help with reading the character marks.  This is a very pretty bowl, I'm hoping its not a reproduction or newer copy.  Can someone tell me what it says on the bottom?  Thanks Peter and Stan!  I have a few pieces in question, so I wasn't sure if it would be easier to make a new post topic for each one or combine them all into one post.

hi tipton444,
it's a nice bowl but i believe this is a japanese bowl with spurious Chinese mark.

Thanks again, do you know what the Chinese marks read?
