Title: Early C19 Domestic Porcelain - bulk selling?
Post by: pjc on Oct 30, 2018, 17:27:03
Hi everyone. Just wondering whether there's any collective wisdom around the place. My dad has spent a fair bit of his life selling genuine Chinese antiques, including shipwreck porcelain, jade horses, jewellery etc. I'm helping him clear out a few things from his house at the moment, and have come across c300-400 "domestic porcelain" dishes. As far as I can tell they are:

* early to mid C19
* mostly around 7-8 inch diameter
* most of them are Lotus design, some Peony
* "domestic porcelain"
* imported from China in 1980s

Pictures as attached, including "trade mark" which may or may not be useful.

We're in the UK. Who might be the best people to talk to about selling them? Any contacts - genuine please - gratefully appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, about Jiaqing reign, not earlier. I would all this beginner's fare. Essential for learning, but because they are still fairly plenty the price will not be very high.
