Any information abouth this heavily gilded satsuma vase with " made in china" trademark is much appreciated.

It is a vintage vase (made after 1950s). My guess would be from the 70s or 80s.  You can find republic pieces marked ''made in china'' or ''china'' but this one is more modern. I don't think it is collectible.

The vase was made in a mold, a modern mold, where it was injected in a mold, late 20th century in my opinion.
