Title: Large pair of mirrored decorated vases
Post by: Stan on Aug 20, 2018, 23:19:06
Hi Peter, I believe these are early 20th century vases, they are mirrored images of each other, could you tell me if there is a date, sorry I tried to look in my books to see if I could figure it out but with no luck, these are 57.8 cm tall, thanks for all your help.

No cyclical date, as far as I can see, except if it was on the neck; but that is unlikely.
Judging by painting style it might be about 1920s, perhaps a bit on the later side. Very nice condition.
As far as I can see it was produced by a business or manufacturer in Tianjin (Tientsin).

Thanks Peter, that explains why I could not find the date, I was trying to match them to the 60 cyclical dates, thanks again.
