Hi Peter, I picked these up at an estate sale, I am not sure how old they are but the colors are light pastel colors making me think early republic possible, I did not pay much for them I thought they were interesting pieces, can you tell me if their is anything in the Characters that would suggest age, the size of these are 22.8 cm tall, thank you.

The black rectangles with three characters say "Daote jing", a scripture.
