Title: Perforated plaques

Could anybody give me the use of those plaques ?
And maybe the age too?

Not sure of the age, but I believe they are either steamer plates or drip strainer plates to let the juices drain when cooking something.

Hmm is right, these were made to fit into a large platter and the meat juice would drain in the holes, the decoration looks Japanese possibly fukagawa, I have seen these in Chinese Canton blue, but not in Japanese, interesting.
