Title: Cleaning Porcelain

Hi Peter and Stan,

How would you recommend cleaning porcelain? Especially plates with overglaze enamel?

Be especially careful if there is a possibility of cracks or repaired porcelain. Use a tooth brush if necessary. Avoid chemicals, bleaching agents or strong detergents.

If it is plates, I would hand wash them in hot soapy water, I place a towel in the sink for added caution not to bang them against the sink, I do the same with my vases, I use a dish soap dawn seems to work just fine.
