Title: Porcelain plaque. How old?
Post by: ssbill on May 28, 2018, 12:22:14
I think this plaque was made during the second half of the 20th century but I'd still like to confirm with you if this might be older. Thanks

There's a 1943 cyclical date written.

Could this date correspond to the year the plaque was painted? 55 by 32cm

To me the painting style, especially the red part, looks much later. It depends on the individual painter, though. I have never seen this kind of expressive painting on porcelain before.
