Title: Tongzhi-Guangxu?
Post by: ssbill on May 17, 2018, 12:51:46
A wall decoration. I think the decorations on the porcelain are from the late 19th century. Good quality painting with some age. Thanks

This looks like Late Guangxu early 20th century, the faces and necks have to much detail to be earlier I think.

Could this be four sides of a broken vase?

I am not sure of the size but if all 4 pieces are flat the vase would have been a 4 sided, if they are slightly rounded I would agree, but you should be able to tell by looking at the edges, if the edges are cut then it would be a good bet that it was a vase at one time but of the edges look like they were fired in a kiln then no.
