Title: Blue vase with child figures
Post by: T. Chan on May 28, 2014, 13:39:40
Dear Everyone,
I am in another city for a week. And yesterday I went to an antique shop nearby and I saw a blue vase with child figures and Yongzheng mark at the base. Can anyone help me with the faces? I happened to take one picture of it with iphone and the color look rather alright. By looking at the faces and color, does this look promising to be Yongzheng? The piece looks rather old but the base foot rim thickness only less than 1cm thick(is this normal?) Height approx 35-40cm. Thank you.

Hi T Chan, without more photo's, I would say 1950 - 1960 by the faces alone.

Careful, there is a lot of fakes the market, currently, showing this type of decoration.
