Post by: fritz0815 on May 27, 2014, 23:01:45
hello, a friend of mine stated lately that this vase is 13th century. Would anybody have an idea if this might be true?

The dragon is made to look like a Yuan dynasty dragon, but it may be a later copy. Against my expectations there seems to have been a white dragon on blue background existing, then.
Can you upload more pictures, including close-up shots of the glaze, the white dragon's body (partial), the bottom and mouth. Pictures should be really close to show minute details.
