Title: Celadon cup?
Post by: massrog on Jan 31, 2018, 13:15:21
Hello, I'm new here and I hope you can help me to know what I got from my mother's estate. I believe it is a Celadon glazed cup. It's approximately 3.5" dia. x2.25"high. According to the limited research I was able to do it seems to have a Qianglong 4 character seal mark. Can anyone here shed any light on what I actually have here? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Roger

The mark says " made during the Qianlong reign " but I think the mark is spurious, if it was from the period the mark would be centered but it looks like it is off centered, perhaps late Qing.
