Title: Jiaqing? Bowl and saucer
Post by: Isaac1998 on Jan 30, 2018, 23:53:49
Hi, I bought this rice bowl or perhaps a large cup today in Beijing, with a saucer from the same shop that I believe matches. I believe it is min yao ware and the pattern is stylised peonies. I was wondering if anyone could help corroborate or give more information; especially on the base mark.

I am sorry the pictures are not very good; they are from before it was cleaned. I will upload some more in the morning when they can be seen in natural light.

These are pretty standard items from the Jiaqing/Daoguang period. This type of decoration started in the Jiaqing reign.
