Title: Chinese plate?
Post by: Mjf on Jan 09, 2018, 08:15:09
Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum and am hoping someone will be able to help me.

I bought what I think is a Chinese plate, but I know nothing more about it and I'd be interested to find out.

Could anyone help identify where this plate is from, when it was made and (if possible) who by?

I realise it is probably a recent piece, but any help would be gratefully received!

Thanks in advance,

Matt

You have to upload pictures. Use the browse button (see Attach:) in a new message to select them on your computer.

Sorry I thought I'd uploaded them properly but obviously I didn't do it properly.

I hope I've attached them properly this time.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Kind regards,

Matt

This plate seems to be from Japan, looks like Eiwa.
When I am right, it would be produced in the second half of the 20th century.

The decoration is very recent late 20th century in my view.
