Title: Qianlong dragon dish
Post by: williamh on Dec 04, 2017, 13:46:26
Someone wants to sell this dish to me. I know +99% of these are fake but the same owner has other pieces I know are genuine. Does it look  right to you?

If right this would be imperial porcelain. This forum is not the right place for judging this. It takes someone who handles these things all the time, like someone in a museum or major auction house, to check it.

Ok, I understand. But is there any obvious signs its a fake? Like the mark or  bottom rim or shape? I will have to ask an auction house but I would not want to waste their time with a blatantly fake dish.

Nothing that I can see in these pictures. But they are an overview only...
