Hi kardinalisimo, This is a Japanese vase made by Hichozan Shimpo, 1860 to 1880.

I have not bought it yet. It was a bit pricey for being that small. I did a quick search and I see that his pieces are offered at quite diverse prices.
I will think about it.

One thing I will note is that there usually is black colored subjects in his decoration which I'm not seeing in this one but I do not think his porcelain is being faked, and it looks like a period piece to me.
