Title: Qing Qianlong brush washer?
Post by: Shani on Nov 07, 2017, 21:53:53
Hi. I have a small ceramic piece that looks like a brush washer. It is approx. 7" x 4". The stamp on the base suggests the Qing Qianlong period. I don't know about Chinese ceramics. Is there anything about the appearance or the stamp that indicates whether this is a fake? Any info much appreciated. Thanks.

The photos are a little small but just by looking at this images one can tell that is nothing traditional Chinese from the period. They didn't stamp imperial marks on antique imperial pieces. The foot rim looks modern.  Piece is modern. Hope this helps...
