Title: Large Kangxi Pot?
Post by: williamh on Nov 03, 2017, 12:16:56
The bottom seems appropriate for the period . ( I think??) The rest seems in very good shape, perhaps in too good of shape for the 18th century?  Thanks again

The mark is an apocryphal Qianlong mark, not Kangxi, I would say by the color blue republic period, I believe this is a fish bowl, very nice.

Glaze is too pristine and without age signs to be very old. The mark characters are not very carefully written. A 20th century item  in my view.
