I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me how old this vase is

Most marks are spurious and so there is no way to tell age with out seeing the bottom, the whole vase and decoration and any age signs present, the fact that the mark is stamped and there is a stamped 20 tells me that it is 20th century or more recent.

Hi Stan,

I agree this is a mid to late 20th Century stamp. I think it says made in China, Chinese made, or something to that effect. From what I understand, stamps started being used around 1870, so the mere presence of stamped mark does not always make a piece modern.

I agree Bokaba, I was mainly referring to the 20 stamp, I think that would make it much latter.
