Title: 18th Century/Kangxi Lidded Urn
Post by: bokaba on Sep 07, 2017, 14:06:38
I was wondering the age on this lidden urn. My guess is late Kangxi/Yongzheng or Qianlong.

Thank you

Bokaba

Hi Bokaba, could you post a close up of the continuous swirl decoration and one of the bottom with better resolution or clear of the foot, thanks.

Sorry bokaba, the decoration around the neck, I believe it is called a continuous swirl.

Hi Stan, here is the rim decoration. It looks like a Greek key design.

I think this is late Kangxi, the blue color looks right and unsigned would make it a later piece I think, I believe the Chinese would call this design a continuous swirl.
