Post by: T. Chan on May 12, 2014, 03:02:44
Dear Peter and all,

Here is another Yuan red blue mei ping which very suspicious. It might look new and it probably new. But the base looks alright?
Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The corners ofthe petal decoration and blue pigment, and painting style look better with this one, in my view. But I have doubts about the red color. In my memory the red is not of this type.
Anyway, this is already outside my comfortability zone. I have actual hands-on experience with small items only. Like those that were exported to SE Asia.

Dear peter,
You are genius. When I said the colors are 90% right, that exclude the red. I dont know why but the red is somehow more red while the real one is more brownish brick color. I am using olympus omd and this camera, factory setting is more in amber color. And the lens, I am using Leica to get sharp pics, but again, this lens is more orangey than others. They say, people like it more. I couldnt help it.
Again, thank you for commenting on this.
