Title: Kangxi vase?

What are peoples initial thoughts on this vase?
Will send  a photo of the base when it arrives.

Hi Calder, the foot is one of the most important things I think to evaluate Kangxi items, the bubble bursts, incised foot rim, the blue on yours looks right but the picture is not the best, need clear photo's showing close ups of the decoration and of the foot.

Hi Calder, Kangxi is known for there five shades of blue, this looks good to me, I believe the double ring was done on the early Kangxi period, nice bottle.

I agree, probably Kangxi reign. Not necessarily export ware. Congratulations, such nicely painted items are difficult to find nowadays.

Do not remove the patina.  It may lose value. Do not use a cleaner that makes it shiny as new. Removing grime with some soap or alcohol should be fine.
