Hi, I was wondering if this is a late 19th/early 20th Century vase. It is about 9 inches tall and is marked "CHINA" on the base.

late 30s/40's republic period vase...

The detailed painting of the face and hair style seems to indicate a 20th century (republic or later item). The rest could as well be late Qing dynasty style. I guess the dating of heavenguy is about right.
