Title: Beautiful Vase
Post by: Moni_22 on Jun 20, 2017, 04:06:04
Hello Everyone,

I would like to know your opinion on this very beautiful vase. The seller told me that it is from the 19th century. I doubted that, my guess is first half of 20th.

It is in perfect condition, no chips, no cracks, not even a hairline. In my opinion way too perfect for a vase that is supposed to be that old. It has a grayish glaze and is not translucent, so possibly not even porcelain?

At first, I thought it is completely unmarked but there is a small one scratched in the foot-rim that looks like an ?E?. (And perhaps it is exactly that?)

So, what do you think?
